How to prepare for CBSE 12th board exam 2021, know some important tips from the topper

Palak Singh is currently doing Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. He had secured 94.8 percent marks in the class 12th board examination. She says that to get good numbers in the exam, hard work has to be done and there is no other option for hard work. Talking with The Better India, Palak has shared some important tips and tricks regarding exam preparation.

In the 12th, Palak chose Science, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science and English as subjects in Science stream. With 12th she was also preparing for JEE exam. She says that some strategies work the same in both exams.

Practice of all questionnaires and examples is necessary

Palak says, “Make sure that you have practiced all the questions and samples given in the textbook.” By solving the examples given in the textbook, students will be able to understand the concepts better. Palak asks the students to ensure that every model and questionnaire given in the textbook is an attempt to solve it well.

Palak further says that when you read the textbook for the first time, read it like a novel or novel. Read the book from beginning to end in such a way that you understand the concepts and diagrams well and remember them as well. Then, when you read it for the second-third time, read it in detail and carefully.

It would be better if you create an exam-like atmosphere and try to solve the paper. “I used to try to solve a paper in a day, which helped me understand my strengths and weaknesses,” says Palak.

According to each chapter, previous year solved paper and last 10 year solved paper of CBSE 12th standard, will be beneficial for interested students to practice. The answer key from Oswal Publishers is according to the board marking scheme, which helps students to correct their responses.

Cast doubt away

Students should clear every doubt or problem related to their studies or questions. Palak says, “I made sure that I ask questions to my teachers and solve the questions. I used to mark the things which I did not understand and try to work out solutions with the teacher. ”

Need to rest

Music was the best way for Palak to relax. She often listened to music in her spare time. Palak says, “Music helped me relax and take a break from the same routine of studying everyday. It is a personal choice. I know many of my friends who used to resort to dance for relaxation and a short break from their day’s studies. “

Paper solving technique

Palak says that he devised a technique to solve the paper and followed it. She explains, “I started off with answering the lowest-scoring questions and slowly moved on. I used to leave out the questions that I used to suspect, and after solving the entire paper, I tried to solve those left out questions again. ”
